Alain Grizaud is the new President of the “Fédération Nationale des Travaux Publics” (FNTP). He succeeds Bruno Cavagné, who has held the post since 2013.

Since 1985, Alain Grizaud has headed up COUSIN-PRADERE, a family business specialising in pipe-laying, based in Castelsarrasin in the Tarn-et-Garonne region. Today, with his son Florent, he continues to develop the company.

Alain Grizaud, 61, is a man who likes to meet people and exchange ideas, and has been involved in both business and trade union life for more than twenty years. He pays close attention to the competitiveness of businesses, and is committed to convincing the public authorities of the need to return to an investment approach.

As active member of the Fédération Régionale des Travaux Publics of Occitanie, he presided the “Syndicat National des Canalisateurs” between 2012 and 2022.

On 29 June 2023, he was elected President of the FNTP.
He has set himself three priorities for his term of office: to pursue the commitment of the sector and all its companies to the challenges of the ecological transition; to enhance the attractiveness of the trades in order to meet the strong recruitment needs and aspirations of the new generations; and lastly, to develop union leadership at the heart of the regions.
