Initial and ongoing occupational training
AFTES, through its Education Committee, offers a range of initial and ongoing occupational training courses for professions concerned by the activities of the Association and its members.
Continuing education
Each year, ENTPE and INSA Lyon, in partnership with AFTES and CETU, teach two courses respectively devoted to construction techniques for underground structures, and to underground construction design methods and justification.
Accredited training
AFTES wishes to support training programmes (including initial undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as specialist training) that address the field of tunnels, underground structures and underground space.
Master’s degree in Tunnels & Underground Works
Working closely with AFTES and the Centre d’Etudes des Tunnels (CETU), INSA Lyon and ENTPE offer a specialist Master’s degree (Mastère Spécialisé®) in Tunnels and Underground Works.
