AFTES is a multidisciplinary organisation representing all trades involved in the design and construction of underground structures and spaces, whilst aiming to improve knowledge and techniques in this field.
In this edition, an article by Michel Gérard, former President of the ‘Clé de Sol’ national research project, reminds us of the success achieved by the programme when it was completed some twenty years ago, yet in his interview he also points out the many obstacles that still need to be overcome in order to implement multi-utility galleries.
