COMEP: Technical visit to the TELT C06/7 job site

On March 4, 2026, the AFTES Materials, Equipment, and Products Committee (COMEP) was welcomed by the teams of Vinci Construction Grands Projets and Webuild for a presentation and site visit of the TELT C06/7 project, at the Saint-Martin-la-Porte and La Praz sites.

The project presentation was delivered by Ibrahim Kurtulmus on behalf of the consortium composed of Vinci Construction Grands Projets (lead contractor), Dodin Campenon Bernard, Vinci Construction France TP Lyon, and Webuild.

The visit brought together 14 members of the MEP committee, reflecting the strong interest of professionals in these field feedback sessions. This meeting was part of the knowledge-sharing and experience exchange dynamic promoted by AFTES, aimed at highlighting innovations, best practices, and feedback in the field of underground works.

The day was structured around a detailed presentation of the Saint-Martin-la-Porte and La Praz worksites, followed by an on-site visit providing a concrete understanding of the installations and equipment in place. This immersive experience enabled participants to better grasp the challenges involved in delivering large-scale underground structures. Discussions were particularly rich throughout the day, encouraging the sharing of experience among the various stakeholders present.

This visit fully illustrates the role of the AFTES Materials, Equipment, and Products Committee: building connections between stakeholders, disseminating knowledge, and supporting technical developments in the sector.
