The theme of the technical day

The hydrogen sector and the challenge of strategic metals: what prospects for the sustainable economy?

The SIM’s Circular Economy of Strategic Metals group and its partners France Hydrogène and the DGALN are organising a technical day on the prospects of the hydrogen sector in the face of the challenge of a sustainable and responsible supply of platinum group metals. The programme will include presentations by experts from all walks of life, followed by round tables that will provide answers to questions at the heart of the energy transition:

  • What are the prospects for the deployment of the hydrogen industry and what will be the demand for critical metals?
  • What role can recycling and, more broadly, supply based on secondary resources available in France or in Europe, play?
  • How can the levers of the sustainable economy help strengthen our sovereignty and resilience?
